The Great Red Race was played at the bottom of the third inning on the scoreboard at Riverfront Stadium. It was an 8-bit animation masterpiece. You never knew who would win. There was no 3D race around the city, it was simply 3 numbered dots wearing digital baseball caps, and we loved it.
