The Gary Burbank ShowÃwas a production of the BBC, the Broadbank Burbcasting Corporation. The “this is the B-B-C…” announcement was voiced by Indianapolis-based, Cincinnati-raised, comedian “Big” Jim Leugers, doing a spot-on James Earl Jones impression. The Gary Burbank Show ran on WLW in Cincinnati from 1980 until 2007. For many years it was syndicated across the country. Memorable characters and bits included Earl Pitts, Gilbert Gnarley, Sports of Consequences, All My Bengals, Paul Harvey News, Eunice & Bernice, and many more.
